Shape of time Review

shape of time review
Kubler’s “The Shape of Time” talks about that hardships that biographers of artists have and comparing artists. He states that writing about an artists just from their biography does not help anyone understand why they made something, how, and what message it was intended for. Comparing artists is difficult because they are so many differences in how an artists comes to be and what their piece of work is. Kubler touches on some artists are just naturally born with the talent and others have to discover it- the artists “entrance”. Artists are extremely talented, however, some artists are much more well known then others. This doesn’t necessarily mean that da Vinci was more talented then a lessor known name, but almost everyone could identify some of his work. Some artists become popular at the right time.
